Thalassa Ashtanga Kaftan
Designed by Mona Swims for the Aloja collection and handmade in Ireland, the Ashtanga is cut generously in pure silk chiffon, so it drapes and moves with you. A deep V falls at the front and back, held in place by an adjustable tie at the nape of the neck. Easy over swimwear on the beach, and just as natural at dinner as the light goes.
The Thalassa print takes its name from the Greek word for sea. It follows the lines of coral reef beds in soft, sun-bleached coral tones, as if traced from the ocean floor. Coral grows slowly, one layer at a time, building whole worlds beneath the water, and this print carries that same quiet patience.
