Intricately crafted with timeless tradition, this carefully dyed raffia fiber and sweet grass cylindrical vase makes a stunning statement piece. One or more of these vases will make a globally conscious and stylistic addition to your home. Our medium vase comes with a glass liner from the collection to display a bouquet of flowers or a plant. Alternatively this vase can be used to hold a bottle of wine, desk supplies, or kitchen utensils.

Made only in an ethical, fair trade environment. Handwoven by a cooperative of women located in Uganda, this one of kind piece takes weeks to complete.

Care Instructions:

Made of natural fibers and grass; do not submerge or wash with water. If necessary, use a damp cloth to wipe the vase clean.

Meaning & Purpose:

These delicately textured and handcrafted vases were made by groups of women in intimate communities across Uganda. They use the raffia plant and sweet grass to weave them together.
